Welcome to the website of Derek Warby Artist Management, home to some of the finest ensembles and musicians.
Derek Warby Artist Management was formed in the summer of 2007 to manage a range of leading chamber ensembles. Active in professional music management since 1980, Derek has worked with some of the world’s most established musicians and is now privileged to look after the Amstel Saxophone Quartet, the Auricle Ensemble, the Comberti-Cole Duo, Divertimenti Ensemble, Primavera Chamber Ensemble, The Symphonic Brass of London, the Visontay-Kym Duo, the Wiener Kammersymphonie and the Zimro Trio, as well as Dutch jazz/swing violinist Tim Kliphuis and the comedy string quartet Graffiti Classics.
The Amstel Quartet are looking forward to tours to the Middle East, Japan and China.
The Auricle Ensemble have two forthcoming performances on 24 and 26 May of their new RE-WRITE project, featuring music by minimalist legend Steve Reich, Radiohead's Jonny Greenwood and Admiral Fallow's renowned multi-instrumentalist Sarah Hayes.
Divertimenti have just given the first three performances of a new piece written for them especially for their 40th-anniversary season by renowned composer Sally Beamish, who was a founder member of the ensemble in 1978. The piece is entitled, somewhat appropriately, Divertimenti.
Another busy spring and summer for Graffiti Classics sees them performing in throughout Yorkshire and in Dorset, Essex, Humberside and Hampshire, plus more workshops in schools in and around Dublin. The autumn sees the world's funniest string quartet making another appearance at the Clifden Arts Festival in Ireland, as well as touring yet again in Taiwan.
Another trip to the USA beckons, this time to various venues in the state of Montana.
The Wiener Kammersymphonie have just completed a successful run of concerts in Turkey.
